From Tlaxcala to the Bay Area, Built on Relationships
Long before Rocko’s Produce had its own stall at the Golden Gate Produce Market, its founder was a hardworking teenager learning the produce business from the ground up. Originally from Tlaxcala, Mexico, he brought his determination to California, working through his teenage years and gaining experience with respected produce companies, including FreshPoint.
Those years taught him much more than how to buy and sell produce. They taught him the value of showing up, keeping his word, and treating people right. Eventually, years of dedication led to a milestone he had worked toward: his very first stall at the market.
Today, as a husband, father, and son, he continues to build Rocko’s Produce as a family-owned business serving customers throughout the Bay Area. The work is about fresh produce, of course—but just as importantly, it’s about the people behind every order: the restaurant owners, market operators, and families who place their trust in us.
We believe business may begin with a handshake, but the friendships and relationships we build can last a lifetime. That belief is at the heart of Rocko’s Produce, and it always will be.
